Description
What is DSIP?
DSIP is a peptide. A peptide is a short chain of the same building blocks that make up protein. Its name stands for “delta sleep-inducing peptide.” Delta sleep is the deepest stage of sleep, and “inducing” means bringing it on. DSIP is made in a lab. It copies a small peptide that scientists first found in the 1970s.
What is it for?
People look into DSIP for sleep. The main areas are:
- Deep sleep. This is the stage when you are hardest to wake. It is the most restful part of the night.
- Sleep patterns. Studies look at falling asleep, staying asleep and keeping a steady sleep and wake cycle.
- Stress. DSIP has also been studied for how the body handles stress.
How does it work?
In the 1970s, scientists took blood from rabbits that were in deep sleep. They gave part of that blood to other rabbits. Those rabbits then spent more time in deep sleep. The scientists found a small peptide behind this and named it DSIP. Even today, no one knows for sure how DSIP works or what its natural job in the body is.
How strong is the proof?
The proof is weak and mixed. The first studies were in animals. Small studies in people with sleep problems gave mixed results: some found better sleep, and others found no clear change. DSIP is not an approved medicine in Canada. We don’t promise any results.
What you get
- One sealed vial with 10mg of DSIP as a dry powder
- 98% pure or higher, tested by an outside lab
- A lab report for every batch
- Shipped from Vancouver, BC, with an ice pack
- Buy 1, 3, 5 or 10 vials. The more you buy, the less each vial costs.
How do I mix and store it?
The peptide comes as a dry powder because powder stays fresh much longer than liquid. Before it can be used, the powder is mixed with bacteriostatic water, which is clean water made for this job. Our mixing calculator shows how much water to add. Keep sealed vials in a cool, dry, dark place. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge.

Common questions
What is the difference between DSIP and Selank?
They are studied for different things. DSIP is studied for sleep, especially deep sleep. Selank is studied for stress, anxiety and a calm mood. They also come from different natural peptides.
Does DSIP make you fall asleep?
Not in a clear way. The name comes from early rabbit studies, not from proof in people. Studies in people have had mixed results.
Are there side effects?
Side effects have not been well studied in people, because there are only a few small human studies.
Why does it come as a powder?
Peptides break down fast in liquid. A dry powder stays stable while it ships and while it is stored.
Can I see the lab report?
Yes. Posted reports are on our lab results page. If your batch isn’t there yet, email us the batch number and we’ll send it to you.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes. We ship from Vancouver, BC, to anywhere in Canada. Orders are packed with an ice pack to keep them cool.
