Description

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a copper peptide. A peptide is a short chain of the same building blocks that make up protein. GHK-Cu is tiny, with just 3 building blocks joined to copper. Your body makes it on its own, and it was first found in human blood. Levels in the blood drop as we get older. Ours is made in a lab.

What is it for?

GHK-Cu is widely used in skin-care creams and serums. It is studied for:

  • Firmer skin and fine lines. Studies look at whether skin gets firmer and smoother as we age.
  • Healing skin wounds. Studies look at how fast cuts and sores on the skin close up.
  • Thicker hair. Early studies look at whether it helps hair grow thicker.

How does it work?

Your skin stays firm thanks to collagen. Collagen is a protein that works like a strong mesh under the surface. As we age, the body makes less of it, so skin gets thinner and looser. GHK-Cu carries copper, which the body needs to build that mesh. In lab studies, GHK-Cu helped skin cells make more collagen and repair damage.

How strong is the proof?

There are some small studies in people, mostly with creams put on the skin. Most of the research comes from lab studies. GHK-Cu is used in skin-care products, but it is not an approved medicine. We don’t promise any results.

What you get

  • One sealed vial with 50mg of GHK-Cu as a dry powder
  • 98% pure or higher, tested by an outside lab
  • A lab report for every batch
  • Shipped from Vancouver, BC, with an ice pack
  • Buy 1, 3, 5 or 10 vials. The more you buy, the less each vial costs.

How do I mix and store it?

The peptide comes as a dry powder because powder stays fresh much longer than liquid. Before it can be used, the powder is mixed with bacteriostatic water, which is clean water made for this job. Our mixing calculator shows how much water to add. Keep sealed vials in a cool, dry, dark place. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge.

Common questions

What is the difference between GHK-Cu and KPV?

Both are tiny peptides with just 3 building blocks. GHK-Cu carries copper and is mostly studied for firmer skin and healing. KPV has no copper. It is mostly studied for calming swelling and redness in the gut and skin.

What does the “Cu” in GHK-Cu mean?

Cu is the science symbol for copper. GHK is the tiny peptide, and Cu is the copper joined to it.

Are there side effects?

Side effects have not been well studied in people, because there are only a few small human studies.

Why does it come as a powder?

Peptides break down fast in liquid. A dry powder stays stable while it ships and while it is stored.

Can I see the lab report?

Yes. Posted reports are on our lab results page. If your batch isn’t there yet, email us the batch number and we’ll send it to you.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. We ship from Vancouver, BC, to anywhere in Canada. Orders are packed with an ice pack to keep them cool.
