Common questions
What is the difference between Semaglutide, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide?
They are all used or studied for weight loss, but they copy a different number of gut hormones. Semaglutide copies one (GLP-1). Tirzepatide copies two. Retatrutide copies three. The newer ones led to more weight loss in studies, but Retatrutide is not an approved medicine yet.
Are there side effects?
Yes. In studies, the most common side effects were nausea, diarrhea, throwing up and constipation. They were most common in the first weeks.
