Description

What is Retatrutide?

Retatrutide is a newer peptide made in a lab. It copies three hormones your body makes on its own: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. It is being tested in large studies for weight loss and type 2 diabetes. It is not an approved medicine yet.

What is it for?

Retatrutide is being studied for three main things:

  • Weight loss. It helps people feel full sooner, so they tend to eat less.
  • Type 2 diabetes. A study in people with type 2 diabetes found lower blood sugar.
  • Using stored energy. Because it also copies glucagon, scientists are studying whether it helps the body burn more of its stored energy.

How does it work?

After a meal, your gut sends out GLP-1 and GIP. GLP-1 tells your brain you are full and slows down how fast your stomach empties. GIP is another gut hormone that helps your body handle the sugar from food. Glucagon is a hormone that tells your body to use stored energy. Retatrutide does all three jobs at once. Scientists think this mix of “eat less” and “use more” may explain the weight loss seen in studies.

How strong is the proof?

Retatrutide has been tested in people, but the testing is not finished. In a 2023 study, people on the highest amount lost about 24% of their body weight over 48 weeks. Larger studies with thousands of people are now testing it. It is not an approved medicine in Canada or the United States yet.

What you get

  • One sealed vial with 10mg of retatrutide as a dry powder
  • 98% pure or higher, tested by an outside lab
  • A lab report for every batch
  • Shipped from Vancouver, BC, with an ice pack
  • Buy 1, 3, 5 or 10 vials. The more you buy, the less each vial costs.

How do I mix and store it?

The peptide comes as a dry powder because powder stays fresh much longer than liquid. Before it can be used, the powder is mixed with bacteriostatic water, which is clean water made for this job. Our mixing calculator shows how much water to add. Keep sealed vials in a cool, dry, dark place. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge.

Common questions

What is the difference between Retatrutide and Tirzepatide?

Both copy the gut hormones GLP-1 and GIP. Retatrutide also copies a third hormone, glucagon. Tirzepatide is an approved medicine, while Retatrutide is still being tested. Semaglutide copies just one hormone, GLP-1.

What is the difference between the 10mg and 20mg vials?

Only the amount. Both vials hold the same retatrutide at the same 98%+ purity. The 20mg vial has twice as much powder.

Is Retatrutide an approved medicine?

Not yet. Early human studies found large weight loss, and bigger studies are still going on. It is not approved in Canada or the US.

Are there side effects?

Yes. In studies, most side effects were stomach-related, like nausea, diarrhea and throwing up. They were mostly mild to moderate.

Can I see the lab report?

Yes. Posted reports are on our lab results page. If your batch isn’t there yet, email us the batch number and we’ll send it to you.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. We ship from Vancouver, BC, to anywhere in Canada. Orders are packed with an ice pack to keep them cool.
